Dolby Asteria

Dolby wanted to create an out-of-this-world experience to showcase the power of Dolby Atmos audio, so we partnered with GMUNK and John Iacoviello to create an augmented reality installation and immersive WebGL experience that blew people away.

Divided into three acts, the experience allowed users to explore three imaginary worlds hidden in a distant corner of space. Users could wield cosmic powers and gravity at the touch of a button by creating black holes, throwing giant monoliths through a sky of perpetual daybreak, and shattering crystalline asteroids with intense electromagnetic energy.
